The Center for European Studies, Center for American Studies and Center for Science & Technology invite you to participate in the 3rd National Scientific Conference entitled "Sustainable Development. Legal, Economic, Political and Social Aspects".
WHEN?
The conference will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 between 9:00 and 16:00 online on the Microsoft Teams platform.
The length of the conference depends on the number of speakers. In the event of a large number of applications, we reserve the right to extend the conference to Sunday, December 7, 2025.
WHAT IS THE CONFERENCE ABOUT?
The main objective of the conference is to discuss sustainable development as a social, political and legal, economic and environmental challenge.
The aim of the conference is to discuss and exchange views between young and experienced representatives of science, business and public sector entities and to popularize knowledge about sustainable development.
SUGGESTED (EXAMPLE) TOPIC AREAS
• Sustainable development as a guideline for creating value systems for companies and public sector entities
• Information technology as a factor of sustainable development
• Sustainable development in the theory of economics and finance
• Corporate social responsibility and socially responsible investment
• Financing sustainable local and regional development
• Horizontal and vertical cooperation of business entities and state authorities in the socio-economic space
• Eco-rating and environmental verification of investments
• Modern methods of investment and innovation assessment
• Accounting and reporting in the face of new challenges
The above-mentioned topic areas are only examples - we strongly encourage you to go beyond them.
In addition, presentations may be interdisciplinary in nature, combining various fields of science.
Note: presentations do not have to be comparative in nature - speakers may discuss issues related to only *one* of the selected areas.
We believe in freedom of academic discussion and do not censor presentations for ideological or political reasons.
Original and unconventional presentations will always be appreciated by the Scientific Committee.

• We cordially invite students and PhD students, experienced researchers, industry practitioners, as well as all other people interested in the conference topics to actively participate in the conference.
• Passive participation does not require any scientific qualifications.
