DESCRIPTION:Dear Sirs,\nThe Center for European Studies and the Center for American Stu
 dies invite you to participate in the 2nd National Scientific Conference en
 titled "Problems and Challenges of Sociology, Resocialization and the Penit
 entiary System".\nWhen?\nThe conference will be held on Friday, November 7,
  2025, between 4:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. online on the Microsoft Teams platfo
 rm.\nThe exact length of the conference depends on the number of speakers. 
 In the event of a high number of applications, we reserve the right to exte
 nd the conference to Saturday, November 8, 2025.\nWhat is the conference ab
 out?\nThe main assumption of the conference is to create a platform for a b
 road and interdisciplinary discussion on current problems and future challe
 nges related to the areas of sociology, resocialization and the penitentiar
 y system.\nThe conference is a platform for an unrestricted exchange of exp
 eriences, views and research between young and experienced scientists, prof
 essionals and practitioners.\nWe will address the subject matter of the Con
 ference from both a theoretical and practical perspective. We will take int
 o account contemporary and historical perspectives. Papers may cover issues
  from Poland, Europe and the rest of the world.\nSuggested (example) themat

 ilies of prisoners\n✓ New technologies in the penitentiary system\n✓ Compar
 ative analysis of penitentiary systems\nThe above thematic areas are only e
 xamples - we strongly encourage you to go beyond them.\nIn addition, the pa
 pers may be interdisciplinary in nature, combining various fields of scienc
 e.\nWe believe in freedom of academic discussion and do not censor presenta
 tions for ideological or political reasons. Original and unconventional pre
 sentations will always be appreciated by the Scientific Committee.\nFor who
