We would like to invite you to participate in the XXIX Scientific Confer ence "Advances in Oncological Gynecology", which will be held on September 11-12, 2025 at the Bachleda Hotel Kasprowy in Zakopane.
Despite progr ess in the field of oncology, reproductive organ cancers remain a huge chal lenge. Our Conference is part of efforts to increase awareness of financing and the current state of research on diagnostics, treatment and prevention . Modern treatment methods are constantly changing. New strategies are emer ging to increase the effectiveness of therapy and minimize side effects: im munotherapy, gene therapy are becoming one of the most promising directions , opening up new possibilities in the field of personalized treatment. We w ould like to emphasize the role of education and prevention in the comprehe nsive strategy of our treatment, through the analysis of risk factors, form s of screening and lifestyle.
The main theme of the Conference is com prehensive care for our patients. Both in terms of prevention, diagnostics and therapy. There is only one patient, the stages of the disease and the d iagnostic and therapeutic possibilities are different. We have invited expe rt lecturers in the field of oncological prevention, imaging and molecular diagnostics, as well as outstanding operators, chemotherapeuticians and rad iotherapists. Thanks to the invited guests and lecturers, we would like to present the entire spectrum of possibilities of modern oncological gynecolo gy. In the first session, we will refer to last year's Conference, through invited guests and lecturers, who will summarize the last year in the imple mentation of the National Oncological Strategy and the National Oncological Network.
The conference will be preceded by Thursday workshops in th e field of surgical techniques in oncological gynecology and the possibilit ies of radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
The conference is addressed to colleagues gynecologists, obstetricians and gynecological oncologists, chem otherapeuticians, radiotherapists, radiologists. Currently, in gynecologica l oncology, a team approach and good communication between individual team members are so important, which will be able to ensure improvement of the w ork effects of individual team members and will allow for improvement of tr eatment results and the level of Polish gynecological oncology.
