The Center for European Studies and the Center for Ameri
can Studies invite you to participate in the 2nd National Scientific Confer
ence entitled "Problems and Challenges of Sociology, Resocialization and th
e Penitentiary System".
When?
The conference will be held on Fri
day, November 7, 2025, between 4:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. online on the Micros
oft Teams platform.
The exact length of the conference depends on the number of speakers. In the event of a high number of applications, we rese rve the right to extend the conference to Saturday, November 8, 2025.
What is the conference about?
The main assumption of the conference is to create a platform for a broad and interdisciplinary discussion on cur rent problems and future challenges related to the areas of sociology, reso cialization and the penitentiary system.
The conference is a platform for an unrestricted exchange of experiences, views and research between yo ung and experienced scientists, professionals and practitioners.
We w ill address the subject matter of the Conference from both a theoretical an d practical perspective. We will take into account contemporary and histori cal perspectives. Papers may cover issues from Poland, Europe and the rest of the world.

We believe in freedom of academic dis cussion and do not censor presentations for ideological or political reason s. Original and unconventional presentations will always be appreciated by the Scientific Committee.
